After the Auction
Once the invoice is sent to your email on file you will have 3 days to pay. If you do not pay within 3 days then your card on file will be charged automatically. If you bid through LiveAuctioneers, your card will automatically be charged and the option of LiveShipping will automatically be chosen. We recommend that you avoid LiveShipping, if possible.
In-House Shipping is Available
Options during checkout with LiveAuctioneers
Local Pickup
- We will gather your item(s) and prepare them for pickup.
- Please contact us to make arrangements for pickup. A pickup appointment is needed.
Arrange Your Own Shipping
- This will be treated as “In-house shipping” with Folk Art Auctions.
- LiveAuctioneers has eliminated the option for you to choose “In-house” shipping during checkout.
- We only pass on the actual cost of shipping, packaging material cost, and a very small fee for handling.
- Many customers have been happy with our packaging and shipping costs.
- We use UPS ground to ship our packages.
LiveShipping
- NOT RECOMMENDED
- This is the automatic shipping quote that you will receive during checkout with LiveAuctioneers.
- If you choose this option, then an uncontrolled 3rd party shipper will pick up your item(s).
- The 3rd party shipper will then pack and ship your item(s).
- Folk Art Auctions will not be involved in this process.
- This has proven to be a very expensive option for most buyers.
- Customers have complained that their packages have arrived damaged or have never shown up at all.

Folk Art Auctions does a lot of travelling. If you are not in a hurry to receive your item(s), we can potentially offer free delivery if agreed upon by the Buyer and Folk Art Auctions. We travel to many shows and festivals throughout the year.
October 4, 2025 Auction: Free delivery is available for Kentuck Festival of the Arts (Saturday Only). Please select “Local Pickup” or “Buyer Arranged Shipping” during checkout and then message Folk Art Auctions at 478-297-4969 (text “your Name” and “Kentuck Delivery”). We will respond with a confirmation text.
